This financial support is an initiative by the IWCA to support members of individual national associations in their professional development. Together, we aim to open doors, remove financial barriers and create new opportunities across the entire coffee value chain.

 

Under the programme, members can apply for an annual grant of up to US$1,500 per person for professional development activities such as certifications, participation in competitions, workshops or research programmes (travel costs are not covered). This is not just about financial support, but also about strengthening expertise, expanding networks and increasing the visibility of women in the industry. Applications can only be submitted once a year, and the winner is selected by an independent jury comprising Ana Maria Fasen, Chair of IWCA Germany; Diana Alaya Gomez, Chair of IWCA Spain; and Kilian Seger of SCA Germany.

Applications are open to members of IWCA Germany who wish to take the next step in their professional development and make a positive contribution to the coffee community. The selected participants will then share their experiences through mentoring, presentations or content for our digital channels, thereby inspiring other women in the network.
